Power BI Specialist

Job Duties:

  • OMEN PowerBI Specialist and Subject Matter Expert at HQ SOCOM focused on:
  • Customized reports
  • Unique user interfaces
  • Dashboard creation
  • Development of Business Intelligence products 
  • As-needed problem resolution
  • Quick reference guides for end-users
  • On-site incident support
  • Working directly with the Enterprise Operations Manager and Government Program Manager (PM) regarding modifications and incident reporting
  • Coordination with Component Managers
  • >25% travel expected
  • The SME shall work in close coordination with the Government representatives and additional directorates when requested and provide support to all requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have active TS/SCI
  • On-site SME shall be multifaceted in not only the SOF Ready technologies, but also the inter-dependent software that ensures the full capabilities of the system. The SME is a key player in the contract. The team member should have experience in the following:
  • All Microsoft Office products
  • A strong knowledge of SOF personnel and human resources functions
  • Developing business processes
  • Instruction ability
  • The SOCOM SIE 
  • SQL Queries
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Ability to fill in as a Trainer when required

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Security + CE


 Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $85,000-$95,000 Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
