Job Summary:
A(n) Action Officer job in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 is currently available through Belcan at one of our key Army clients.  To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience. 
 

Additional info:  The Action Officer is part of the Product Manager (PdM), Multi-Mission Surveillance Systems (M2S2)  Operations Section and provides administrative and operations support to the PdM M2S2 Team.

Job Duties:
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the Product Manager, M2S2, Deputy, PdM M2S2, PdM M2S2 Operations Lead, M2S2 product teams, and external stakeholders as directed and required 
  • Support the efforts and actions of the M2S2 Operations Lead for all tasks, including SACOs, assigned from higher headquarters (PM STARE, PEO M&S, ASAALT, and other DoD organizations. 
  • Assist with the review and editing of official correspondence and briefings.  
  • Assist with the scheduling conference rooms, internal to the M2S2 Program Office and with external organizations for activities such as secure conference rooms.  
  • Primary back-up to the PdM M2S2 Executive Assistant 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant administrative and operations experience supporting military weapons systems.  7 years of relevant administrative and operations experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.  
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess a SECRET security clearance
  • Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint   
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
  • Self-starter with the ability to function autonomously, with little or no direct supervision.  
  • Experience operating in SharePoint

 Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $75,000-80,000 per year. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
