An Agile Business Analyst job in Washington, DC (20250) is currently available through Belcan at one of our key federal clients. To be considered for this role, you will have strong understanding of Agile methodologies, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to gather and break down user requirements into stories and sprints, manage the full sprint lifecycle, and work with end users / QA to gather and analyze feedback. |
Job Duties: |
- Oversee Sprint execution, including tracking progress, identifying blockers, and ensuring timely delivery of sprint commitments.
- Create, prioritize, and refine user stories and product backlog.
- Conduct workflow analysis to enhance existing systems and processes.
- Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and product owners to deliver high quality solutions.
- Collaborate with QA Tester to develop and deliver sprint demos and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Required Qualifications: |
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience in managing multiple Agile projects simultaneously.
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies (daily stand-up, sprint planning)
- Proficient in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders and end users effectively.
- Excellent writing skills to produce meeting minutes and project documentation (Charter, Requirements, User Guides)
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence
- Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint Online and PowerApps
- CSM Certification

Preferred Qualifications & Skills: |
- Security clearance that can easily be accepted by / transferred to Treasury Department
- 3+ years experience leading Agile and Scrum activities

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
