Job Summary:
A(n) Associate Finance Director job is currently available at Belcan. Ideally, the candidate would be local to the Cincinatti, OH area and be hybrid. To be considered for this role, you will have a BS in Finance and 7-10 years of relevant experience.

Job Duties:
  • Provide financial support and oversight for $100M+ Government Solutions business
  • Develop & strengthen business relationships with leadership team, acting as subject matter expert and primary strategic partner to President and his or her direct reports
  • Prepare and present business cases & analyses highlighting key trends and driving strategic decision making
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable reporting & analyses with a focus on continuous process improvement
  • Own the forecast & annual planning processes, working with business to understand performance drivers, macro industry trends, and relevant risks and opportunities
  • Create, establish, and maintain KPI dashboards highlighting relevant operational and financial metrics to drive improved results
  • Establish and maintain provisional bill & wrap rates for government contracting and support related audit inquiries
  • Pricing - prepare financial models with an emphasis on go/no go pricing parameters for new business and contract extensions.  Leverage thorough understanding of competitive landscape and internal cost base to maximize profit margins
  • Lead a team of financial analysts
    1. Drive accountability for team objectives and own the associated performance management & talent evaluation process
    2. Provide guidance and education to less experienced staff
    3. Actively participate in the professional development / career progression of staff
  • Ad hoc analytics
Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA preferred
  • 7 - 10 years of work experience with proven performance track record, including 3+ years managing high performing teams
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to influence, mentor, and develop a high performing team
  • Proven experience with automation, standardization, and efficiency improvements
  • Highly collaborative & able to contribute as a team player
  • Prior experience with government contracts required
  • Prior government contract pricing experience required, including associated wrap rate analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel required; Hyperion Essbase & Smart View, Unanet, PowerBI, & Dodeca preferred

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of 130k - 150k Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
