Job Summary:
The Defense Systems Growth Manager will be directly responsible for researching and qualifying new business pursuits. This includes: Marketspace research, attendance at industry luncheons, Industry Conference planning and attendance. The manager will build a pipeline within the Army portfolio, with concentration on the Program Executive offices located within the C5ISR and Army futures Command. The Manager position will report to the Director of Defense Systems Growth.
Job Duties:
- Contribute to defining and implementing vision and strategic roadmap to support growth
- Support strategy for capture of new business pursuits
- Perform market research to identify, prioritize, and qualify new business pursuits
- Develop and maintain relationships with customer program offices, program executive offices, and build a bench of trusted small business partners
- Lead drafting contractual arrangements (i.e. Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, etc)
- Read, understand, and respond to government requests for information in a timely fashion
- Support capture operations as needed (Gate reviews, color team reviews, recommend bid/no-bid)
- Operate under minimal guidance with intent based directions
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years Active Federal Service
- >3 years experience Business Development or Business Operations (w/ proven experience with CRM software (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics)
- Advanced degree (Subject is immaterial)
- Demonstrated experience with DoD contract vehicle IDIQs
- Demonstrated Experience within Army Acquisition -or- Army Contracting Command -or- Experience with the Program Executive Offices based at Aberdeen Proving Ground
- Demonstrated experience with digital modernization and/or software development
- Proven experience in building strategic plans and briefing those plans C-Suite level leadership
- Active SECRET
- Travel 25%
Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $125,000 to $175,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
