Job Summary:
As part of this role, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls in both English and Spanish. Your main focus will be to assist consumers with their queries related to vehicle safety recalls, publications, and other matters that fall under the jurisdiction of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. In addition, you will need to ensure accurate data entry of vehicle safety complaints into a government database. You will also be responsible for entering consumer inquiries and requests into a proprietary ticketing system.

Job Duties:
  • Handle incoming ACD calls in English and (or) Spanish.
  • Respond to consumer inquiries regarding vehicle safety recalls, publications, and other matters under the jurisdiction of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
  • Respond to contacts via phone, chat and email.
  • Perform accurate data entry of vehicle safety complaints into a government database. 
  • Data entry of consumer inquiries and requests into a proprietary ticketing system.
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong computer and data entry skills Strong analytical ability to resolve complex customer inquiries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of staff, clients, and customers.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability and experience in performing research.
  • Ability to demonstrate superior organizational skills by keeping files and work areas organized.
  • Must have the ability to handle a high level of responsibility and effectively handle high call and email volume.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic. Government contract experience a plus.
  • Shifts may vary between the hours of 8 am to 8 pm EST as needed.

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $16.75-17.00 per hour. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
