Job Summary:
The ServiceNow Implementation Specialist will possess a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, modules, and implementation methodologies, with a strong focus on IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Business Management (ITBM), or other ServiceNow modules. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and project teams to ensure that ServiceNow implementations align with business objectives and best practices.
Job Duties:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of ServiceNow implementation projects including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Configure and customize various ServiceNow modules, such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, and others based on client needs.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, workflows, user stories, and implementation plans.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) and best practice guidance in ServiceNow architecture and development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow implementations and integrations.
  • Support integration of ServiceNow with other systems using APIs, MID servers, and third-party tools.
  • Conduct user training and ensure knowledge transfer to internal teams or clients.
  • Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and community updates.
Required Qualifications:
-BS in relevant field
  3-5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and developing on the ServiceNow platform. 
  Strong proficiency with ServiceNow application development, including UI policies, client scripts, business rules, script includes, workflow, Flow Designer, and integration techniques. 
  Experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Request) or other platform applications depending on the role. 
  Ability to design and document functional and technical requirements, solution architectures, and implementation plans. 
  Hands-on experience working with REST/SOAP integrations, MID Servers, APIs, and authentication methods (OAuth, Basic, API keys). 
     Understanding of ServiceNow data models, CMDB structures, and relationships. 
  Familiarity with Agile / Scrum project methodologies and tools for tracking work (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.). 
  Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues. 
  Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions. 
  Experience working in multi-instance enterprise environments and adhering to SDLC practices, including version control, testing, and release management. 
  Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and maintainability standards (update set hygiene, scoped apps, coding conventions). 
  Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, testers, and business process owners.

 Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $89/hr Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
