Job Summary:
An Integration and Test (I&T) position requiring work in multiple locations including Germantown and Aberdeen MD is currently available at Belcan Government Solutions.  To be considered for this role, you will have an Electrical Engineering or an Information Technology (IT) degree.     This is an entry level position with no experience required.  However, candidates with relevant work experience will be given preferential consideration.
Job Duties:
  • Conduct tests on transceivers for both Satcom and Line of Sight (LoS) performance
  • Conduct mobility drive tests for transceivers where driving repeatedly over the same route is required to ascertain performance in different modes and over different conditions.
  • Update firmware for transceiver processors using both GUI and Command Line interfaces. Field travel may be required to perform this function.
  • Configure transceivers for wide range of tests using both a GUI and Command Line interfaces.
  • Analyze test results and create test reports in both Word and Power Point, to include graphical visualization of results.
  • Document test procedures in Word documents, which may be relayed to you in emails and verbal instructions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Electrical Engineering or IT degree from an established, in-person college or university.
  • Candidate must be well organized, detail oriented and able to document what they did, when they did it and what the results were.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
  • Security+ Certification
  • 1 to 2 years work experience in IT  or I&T.

 Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of pay range of $70,000-90,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
