Successful applicants will understand tactical communications architecture and be able to configure devices (laptops, tablets, radios, phones) with loadouts appropriate to the end user's mission. Helpdesk support is an ongoing task and applicants will need to be able to remotely assist end users with both software and hardware issues. Applicant will be serving as a subject matter expert for ALL TAK related activities. This includes plugin management, TAK server connectivity, certificate issuing and maintenance, data architecture connectivity to higher echelons, cross-component configuration and troubleshooting, and the training associated with helping end-users maintain their own tactical Mission Command footprint. TAK integration in both radio networks and traditional data networks is a primary focus. Familiarity with Harris and Sylvus Radios as well as with the SDN series of satellite communication suites is critical.

 

 

Additional responsibilities include data management such as downloading the latest imagery/DTEDS information and making it readily available to end-users. Applicants will need to be familiar with presenting this type of data in various formats so users can utilize it agnostic of which system they are using (SPEED, X-Plan, ATAK, WinTAK, GAIA etc.)
