Job Summary: The System Integration Support is responsible for supporting all lower TI MC systems (JCR, JBC-P, and MMC-S) in support of AIC testing. Setup/configure all JCR/JBC-P/MMC including all ancillary equipment such as antennas, routers, hubs, and cables.  Provide support for test network architecture network connection overview including providing and verifying required ports, protocols, and services to support data exchange via UTI and LTI systems. 

 

 

Job Duties:

  • Manage and obtain all the COMSEC keys for lower TI MC systems on monthly basis.
  • Provide secondary COMSEC support for BGN-3, on-call for BGN3 support when needed.
  • Provide onsite support for JCR-V, JBCP, and MMC-S configurations.
  • Provide auditing and IA scanning execution for all delivered systems integration support for JCR, JBCP, and MMC-S with external systems.
  • Provide hardware setup and maintain platform systems in SOSI integration lab.
  • Provide system of systems integration support for JCR, JBCP, and MMC-S with external systems.
  • Interact with external systems test teams and developers to complete integration of their product with the platforms.
  • Provide troubleshooting of configurations, hardware and communications devices
  • Provide diagnosis of celestial comms devices, identify issues, interact with SATCOM services to resolve communications issues.
  • Provide support for test network architecture network connection overview including providing and verifying the required ports, protocols, and services, to support data exchange via UTI and LTI systems. 
  • Act as intermediary between the MCSC and test community for reported issues via test observation reports.
  • Initiate and track MCSC trouble tickets from creation to closure for all supported test events.
  • Provide support for test incident report investigations, documentation, and resolution of interoperability, hardware or software issues reported. 
  • Provide on-call support for PdM JBCP for best TTPs, capability, and functional description of the platforms (JCR/JBCP)

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess at minimum an Interim Secret clearance. 
  • Must be able to obtain an IAT-II certification within the first 90 days of hire
  • BS or BA preferred but not required; 5+ years of experience as a systems engineer or administrator.
  • Core Java (1.7+); multi-threading, concurrency. 
  • In-depth understanding of the JBC-P NOC architecture and interconnected systems of all Mission Command Systems

 

Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $65,000- $70,000/year. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
