DevOps System Administrator

Job Summary: The DevOps System Administrator will interact with other engineers on the Dev Tools and Automation team, software developers, test engineers, and release managers. They will perform software installation and setup infrastructure applications.  

 

Job Duties:

  • Perform general IT requirements, installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of network environment.
  • Perform software installation and setup infrastructure application
  • Utilize automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Ability to work in an agile environment
  • Proactively identify potential build/release pipeline bottlenecks and recommend and implement solutions.
  • Maintain open dialogue with team members on projects
  • Coordinate with IT for machine provisioning and related tooling.
  • Work with development, infrastructure, release management and program management teams to implement repository management strategies.
  • Create documentation to capture the development process used to create automation

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess at minimum an Interim Secret clearance. 
  • Must be able to obtain an IAT-II certification within the first 90 days of hire.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps tools implementation and configuration
  • BS or BA preferred but not required.
  • Experience and knowledge of containerization platforms such as Kubernetes, Git, Prometheus and repository technology
  • Ability to work with small team locally, including remote team members.
  • Experience with build systems and release management tools (GIT, JIRA, Gitlab)
  • Experience with scripting languages such as BASH, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud or virtualization (AWS, VMWare, Hyper/Azure)

Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of 90K-95K Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
