Integration and Test Administrator

Job Summary: The Integration & Test Administrator is responsible for maintaining the ongoing operations of the MCSC Integration and Test Network Operations Centers (NOCs). This role involves conducting continuous system checks across all software and hardware components to ensure the full functionality of servers running Windows, Solaris, and Linux within both test and production environments.

Job Duties:

  • Perform routine diagnostics and continuous system monitoring to maintain optimal performance
  • Ensure stability and availability of all critical NOC infrastructure across test and operational environments
  • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
  • Support configuration updates and participate in integration testing efforts
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, including cut-sheets and parameter sheets
  • Oversee configuration management for all NOC systems
  • Provide daily summaries of completed tasks and outstanding action items to the I&T Lead
  • Manage and maintain both virtual and physical deployments supporting the I&T NOCs
  • Maintain the NEH Array, including KGV trays, cabling, traffic keys, and firmware loading
  • Deliver on-the-job training (OJT) to MCSC personnel on current and newly deployed software capabilities
  • Conduct system checks to ensure 100% operational readiness
  • Attend meetings and provide timely verbal and written updates to the I&T Engineer and Lead
  • Review NOC configurations against parameter sheets to verify accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure encryption hardware is updated with current COMSEC material in coordination with the COMSEC office

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess at minimum an Interim Secret clearance. 
  • Must be able to obtain an IAT-II certification within the first 90 days of hire
  • BS or BA preferred but not required
  • 1+ years of experience in system administration
  • Proficient knowledge of VMWare systems and infrastructures
  • Possess a basic understanding of Linux and Windows based systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to function independently as well as with a team
  • Possess effective communication skills

 

Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position offers a salary range of $60,000-$65,000/year.  Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
