Junior Hardware/ Software Technician

Job Summary:

A Junior Hardware / Software Technician job in Washington, DC (20565) is currently available through Belcan at one of our key federal clients.  To be considered for this role, you will have a BS in a relevant field and 5 years of relevant experience. 

Job Duties:

  • Assist with computer rollouts, tech refresh and software upgrades 
  • New user hardware setup 
  • Hardware relocations and reclaims 
  • Training room setup / takedown 
  • Install approved requested software 
  • Assist with troubleshooting of software / hardware incidents 

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Working knowledge of computer and laptop hardware and peripherals, both Windows and Mac 
  • Basic analytical and troubleshooting skills to install, repair and maintain various software and hardware



Compensation:

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $45,000 to $50,000 Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
