Job Summary:
A Security Vulnerability / Software Distribution Manager job in Washington, DC (20565) is currently available through Belcan at one of our key federal clients.  To be considered for this role, you will have a BS in a relevant field and 5 years of relevant experience.

Job Duties:
  • Responsible for release package design, build and configuration 
  • Deals with release package testing to predefined acceptance criteria 
  • Responsible for distribution and the installation of packaged software 
  • Manage monthly patching process 
  • Generate daily, weekly and monthly compliance reports 
  • Work with the Gallery's Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to establish paths to remedy identified vulnerabilities 
  • Administration of LANDesk and Casper servers 
  • Troubleshoot failed patching attempts on both Windows and Mac's 
Required Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative 
  • Ability to document and log work 
  • Knowledge in Microsoft and OSX business applications 
  • Proficient knowledge in Windows OS and Mac OSX for computers and servers 
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to identify, research, and resolve simple to moderately complex technical support issues independently
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
LANDesk and Casper Suite experience preferred

 Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
