Job Summary:
A Configuration Management job in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 is currently available through Belcan at one of our key Army clients.  To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelors degree and at least 3 years of relevant configuration management experience. You will assist in the development, maintenance and implementation of CM process standards, plans, and procedures. You will prepare configuration documentation and maintain Configuration Management (CM) database.

Job Duties:
  • Maintain data quality, integrity, and security of CM database.
  • Attends all Program and Engineering reviews, and CCBs.  
  • Ensures the proper baseline identification of configuration items, perform periodic audits, and provide verification of version release configuration items
  • Collects and reports metrics as required
  • Mentors the organization on Configuration Management services, concepts, policies and procedures
  • Provides guidance and assistance on all drawing reviews.  
  • Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant Configuration Management experience. Eight years of relevant Configuration Management experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Previous experience supporting Army or DoD Program Offices is desired.
  • Must currently have an active DoD security clearance.
  • Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
  • Must have experience with Configuration Management software tools
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
  • Previous experience with Windchill is desired.

 Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $85,000 - $95,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
